What We're Doing

Love all you can, with all you can.—Drew Vogt, Celebrate Life co-founder

CelebrateLIFE! wants to empower people to achieve their potential, and uplift others! To accomplish that, we offer classes, spiritual counseling, workshops and leadership opportunities. This link focuses on how we’re making a positive difference in the world.

  • July 2009 Mexican Orphanage Trip Review: Molly and Drew visited the orphanage in Oaxaca to share God's love with the boys, through an afternoon arts project, and other needed supplies. Because of so many person's generosity we were able to provide the following:
    • Seven bags of fresh groceries
    • Two museum trips
    • Birthday gift for one boy
    • School supplies for two boys
    • New shoes for 7 boys
    • 100 pieces of clothes (donted by CLSC friends & members)\
    • Birthday Party supplies kit (for re-use each month)
    • Busfare for three underprivileged boys
    • Afternoon icecream for everyone--several times
    • About 40 rolls of TP & 2,500 napkins
    • Afternoon arts project, with lessons on "Dreams for the Future."
  • We sponsored three sacred mini-concerts by vocalist Ashana, from New Mexico. Ashana’s masterful playing of the crystal toning bowls weaves delicately with her voice for a transcendent experience. Healing happened on many levels.

    $50 donation May, 2009
    $30 donation June, 2008

  • Donated over $242 to One World Children’s Fund     This organization empowers disadvantaged children around the world coping with poverty, illiteracy, famine, and violence. Part of our donation was earmarked to help build a fence around a girl’s orphanage in Uganda to protect them from the nearby soldiers .

  • Donated 90 pieces of clothing and groceries to clothe and feed orphaned boys at Procasa Hogar de Ninos      Located in Oaxaca, one of the most culturally rich states of Mexico, this small orphanage assists boys who “fell through the cracks”. Many are from abusive families and are now learning to stretch their dreams further by getting an education today, so they can build a life tomorrow. The story of how CelebrateLIFE! connected to Elisabeth Tatum is an amazing synchronicity that started as a “prediction” and became a people-helping-people reality! Related photos in the VIDA section below.

  • $75 to VIDA to empower orphans. Elisabeth Tatum founded VIDA after she visited Procasa Hogar, walked in and saw rain puddles on the floors. The need for assistance was obvious. In July, 2008, CelebrateLIFE! co-founder, Rev. Drew Vogt, journeyed to Oaxaca City to learn firsthand about the boys’ daily challenges. The photos here show the current 10 residents in their safe “home” and adjusting to life. Here is where they learn coping skills that may equip them to be influential fathers of their own families someday.

  • OUR CURRENT PROJECTS:
    1. Assisting Rainbow World Fund’s Bus of Hope delivering educational and medical supplies to schools and orphanages of Tijuana, Mexico.  We provided much-needed school supplies and toiletries.
    2. Assisting Procasa Hogar de Ninos in Oaxaca, Mexico with food, clothes, and sponsoring their secondary education.
    3. Celebrate Life is now sponsoring Gabriel, an orphan, for a full year of secondary education with room and board. He is the 5th child we've directly or indirectly sponsored. Rogelio, child #6, is being sponsored by SpreadKindness.org, founded by one of our Thursday Class graduates, Maria Haswell! Go Maria!
